The new C 49 composite blade converts more engine horsepower into air movement that any previous design - why spend your money on diesel to create noise and turbulence - you want to protect your crop, right? By using a revolutionary design incorporating progressive pitch and surface area, the air from the C 49 carries more wind stream momentum and provides longer blast duration. This adds up to an increase in performance of at least 15% (although anecdotal evidence suggests 25%) accompanied by a reduction in noise of 3 dBA over the already quiet 4 blade alloy model FB405.

The Strength of the new material is greater than aluminium and not subject to cyclic fatigue loads (created by strong nocturnal drifts during a frost event), ambient weather or environmental conditions guaranteeing longer blade life.

 

 

 

Auto controllers

The new FROST BOSS CASCADE controller is the most reliable and robust automatic start module available for frost fan operation. The switch type engine protection resists degredation and misinterpretation of engine parameters which makes the entire system more reliable and less susceptible to malfunction.

The controller enclosure is IP65 rated for outdoor use and is water, ant and vermin proof. A double insulated wiring loom offers improved reliability and resistance to vermin attack.
